The Philippine Society of Critical Care Medicine (PSCCM), through its Committee on Continuing Medical Education, proudly announces Pulse 2026: Hemodynamics from Physiology to Practice, a comprehensive workshop under the “Lessons from the ICU Series.” This highly anticipated educational event will take place on August 14, 2026, at the 5th Floor Amphitheatre and Training Room of the Philippine Heart Center.

Designed for healthcare professionals involved in the management of critically ill patients, Pulse 2026 focuses on mastering hemodynamics through a clinically grounded and multidisciplinary approach. With the theme “A Holistic Approach to Circulatory Failure in the ICU,” the workshop aims to bridge foundational physiology with real-world clinical application, equipping participants with practical strategies for patient care optimization.

The program will cover key areas essential to modern critical care practice, including:

  • Fundamental principles of hemodynamic monitoring
  • Basic and advanced monitoring modalities
  • Dynamic assessment and fluid responsiveness
  • Management of shock states
  • Use of vasoactive agents

Participants can expect a structured and interactive learning experience, highlighting both theoretical concepts and bedside applicability.
