  2. Eligibility & Submission of Requirements

To be eligible, a candidate must submit the following not later than TWO (2) months prior to the scheduled date of examination

Eligibility:

  1. Must be a member of the Philippine Medical Association
  2. Certificate attesting to being a Diplomate of the Philippine College of Physicians/ Philippine Board of Anesthesiology/ Philippine College of Emergency Medicine
  3. Certificate of completion of fellowship in a PSCCM accredited critical care medicine fellowship training program
  4. If trained abroad, must have completed:
    • 1 year fellowship training in critical care medicine (NOT OBSERVERSHIP / PRECEPTORSHIP/ RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP) for adult cardiology, pulmonary, cardiovascular anesthesiology graduates
    • 2 years fellowship in critical care medicine (NOT OBSERVERSHIP/ PRECEPTORSHIP/ RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP) for internal medicine, emergency medicine and general anesthesiology graduates
    • Documents submitted are subject to the specialty board verification

TERMS & CONDITION   I agree to the PSBCCM terms and conditions TERMS and CONDITIONS Should there be any change in the examinee’s qualifications which could affect his/ her eligibility to take the examination, it is the responsibility of both the examinee and the training institution to inform the Philippine Specialty Board of Critical Care Medicine of the deficiency leading to the inability to qualify for the written examination. In these cases, the examinee must take the proper withdrawal from the examination in accordance with the policies concerning examination fees in order to credit his/ her payment to a subsequent examination. The Philippine Society of Critical Care Medicine reserves the right to disqualify from or nullify the examination of any examinee who is found to be deficient in his/ her qualifications to take the examination.
