Philippine Heart Center (PHC) is a tertiary training hospital specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The institution has a total bed capacity of 354, which includes 102 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds across Surgical, Medical, Cardiovascular/Coronary, and Transition Care Units, as well as 61 telemetry beds for continuous cardiac monitoring.

The PHC Critical Care Medicine (PHC CCM) program has been under the Department of Ambulatory, Emergency and Critical Care (DAECC) since 2013. Since its establishment, the training program has produced 43 graduates, several of whom now serve as heads of Critical Care Medicine programs in regional institutions throughout the country.

The division is currently headed by Luis Martin I. Habana as Division Chief, with Bernard Benjamin P. Albano serving as Training Officer. The program was granted Provisional Accreditation by the Philippine Society of Critical Care Medicine on April 1, 2025. At present, the program has three fellows undergoing training.
